About Jean

I’m Jean Brook, a Sydney-based personal and editorial stylist and the creative director behind AM/PM Styling Solutions.

My love for art and music naturally led me to fashion. As a drummer in my youth, I was immersed in a world where personal style was as important as the music. Over time, fashion and styling became my passion, and I believe the three – music, art and fashion – are deeply connected.

My passion for fashion began while working in fashion retail. I loved helping customers find their look that made them feel fabulous.

Over many years I continued to hone my skills and enrolled with The Australian Style Institute where I earned an Editorial styling Certificate leading to fashion shoots throughout Australia.

I steer away from ‘traditional styling’ and I love to uncover the individuality that lurks within and to help you express your unique narrative and personal style.

In today’s throw-away fast-fashion society, I help you uncover the treasures hiding in your wardrobe, take you shopping to find those missing essentials and help to create that “look” that expresses who you are!

Personal shopping is cost-effective because we work within your budget, ensuring you get the best value without overspending. As a stylist, I pass on any discounts directly to you, shopping only at stores that fit your price range. Together, we’ll discuss what you’re comfortable spending, and I’ll guide you to the best places to maximize your budget.

Am/Pm service the Sydney CBD and Greater Metropolitan area from our base in Ultimo. If travel exceeds 30 kilometres a small additional fee may be charged to cover tolls and traveling time. Please contact us for quote.

No, it is not essential however It does help to gauge what you already have or what is missing to understand your personal style and to plan your shopping trip more effectively.

I can come to your home and have a look at your wardrobe (30 mins) and we can sit down and work out a list to suit your budget. This would be called a style consultation. This is your shopping day, You can shop till you drop or you can shop as little as you want! it’s totally your call. You may feel you are out to look for an outfit for a special occasion or fill your wardrobe with new clothes or just fill it with
missing pieces. My goal is to help you invest in pieces that are versatile and work with your existing wardrobe and budget.

Shopping is a very personal experience. We can start with the shops you know and love or go further afield to find those special items to compliment your wardrobe.
